Who I am
This website is run by Daniëlle Nieuwelink trading as NewLink, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99303655, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am responsible for the personal data processed through this website. For any privacy questions, you can reach me at danielle@nieuwelink.com.
What personal data I process
When you email me. If you contact me by email, I receive your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to share in your message. I use this only to reply to you and, if we decide to work together, to arrange our sessions.
When you visit this website. With your permission, I use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited and for how long. IP addresses are anonymized, and Google is not allowed to use this data for its own products or advertising. If you do not give permission, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Cookies. This website uses a few functional cookies, including cookies that remember your cookie choice. You can read more in the Cookie Policy.
Why I am allowed to process your data
I process your email contact because it is necessary to answer your question or to prepare an agreement with you. I use Google Analytics only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via Manage consent.
Who else processes your data
I work with a few service providers who process data on my behalf:
- Hostinger hosts this website.
- Google Workspace handles my email.
- Google Analytics provides the visitor statistics.
Hostinger stores this website on servers in the United States, and Google may also process data outside the European Union. Hostinger protects these transfers with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission considers to offer an adequate level of protection.
I do not sell your personal data and do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires me to.
How long I keep your data
- Emails: up to five years after our last contact, unless we work together.
- If we work together: invoices and related records for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.
- Google Analytics data: detailed visit data is kept for 2 months, user data for up to 14 months.
Links to other websites
This website links to LinkedIn and Substack. These links only open those websites when you click them. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to see, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you. You can also object to the processing, ask me to limit it, or ask for your data in a form you can take elsewhere. Send your request to danielle@nieuwelink.com, and I will respond within one month.
If you believe I am not handling your data correctly, please let me know. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
